Pricing & paid help

The tools are free.
Pay for help making sense of the findings.

Give your coding agents local codebase context and static checks at no charge. If you want a closer look at recent changes, request a PR Replay report with a founder walk-through. Roam Review and Cloud are planned products, not available to subscribe to.

Free CLI and MCP server · Apache 2.0 · No account for local analysis

You do not need a paid service to use Roam with your agents.

Use Roam with your agent

Free · individuals and teams

Find relevant code, follow dependencies, and check the structure around a change. Connect the MCP server or let your agent call the CLI. Include the checks in its project instructions; connection alone does not make them run.

Static checks use local compute and make no model calls. Your agent's own model usage, including reading results, is separate.

PR Replay report

$2,500 Team · $6,000 Deep · one engagement

A written review of an agreed change history: ranked structural findings, a closer look at the important patterns, and a walk-through with the founder. Team covers 30 PRs; Deep covers 90 PRs and adds a remediation plan.

Request by email. Scope, access, timing, and written terms are agreed before work starts. This is a historical assessment, not a security audit or proof that an incident could have been prevented.

See the report, sample, and scope

Start without contacting us: run the free local sample, or read the Roam self-audit example. The example is not a customer case study.

Keep your agent. Keep your tests.

Roam supplies a local map and checks your existing workflow can use. It does not replace your coding agent, test suite, security tools, or shipping decision.

Start with one recurring task: understanding a dependency, preparing a change, or reviewing the affected code. A useful first result is one your agent can inspect and act on—not a health score treated as permission to merge.

A connected agent may send Roam results to its model provider. Package and parser downloads need network access; optional online features have their own boundaries. Read what runs where.

Planned products and scoped deployment enquiries

Roam Review Planned

A proposed hosted check on pull requests, alongside your existing reviewer.

Not available to subscribe to. The local analysis commands exist. The hosted GitHub App, installation flow, and billing are not built yet. There is no confirmed launch date.

Planned checks would highlight connected code, repeated patterns, and tests linked through the index. Static links are not runtime test coverage, and recorded checks do not authenticate who approved a change.

Proposed pricing starts at $99/mo. Read the proposed tiers and limits.

Roam Cloud Planned

A proposed shared view of codebase measurements over time.

Not available to subscribe to. The local metrics-export command exists. The hosted ingestion service, dashboard, and team accounts are not built yet. There is no confirmed launch date.

Proposed prices: $19/repo/mo Starter, $99/mo Team for 10 repos, $299/mo Growth. A 30-day money-back policy is planned for the hosted product, not a checkout available today.

Private deployment enquiry

Need Roam to work within a particular network or support boundary?

The free local tools already run on your machine. A paid deployment pilot is separately scoped: describe your environment so we can assess what is feasible. This is not an installable self-hosted edition of the planned Review or Cloud services.

Custom quote after scope review. Support hours and delivery dates must be agreed; no round-the-clock service is implied.

Proposed definitions and billing

  • Active PR author: a unique human author of a reviewed pull request in the trailing 30 days. Bots and generated release-PR authors would not count.
  • Review: one posted structural-risk result. Re-runs on the same PR within 24 hours would count as one review.
  • Repository: one Git remote. A monorepo would count as one unless split billing is agreed.
  • Usage limits: the proposal is to notify the organisation admin at 80% and show a dashboard notice at 100%. Further reviews would pause at the cap unless the customer upgrades or opts into overage. No automatic overage charges.
  • Renewals: the proposal retains the package through the next renewal, with increases capped at 15% unless a cap was exceeded for two consecutive months.
  • Trial and open source: a 14-day trial and free Review for public open-source repositories are planned. The local CLI and MCP server are already free.
  • Billing: monthly or annual for Starter, Team, and Business; annual for Scale. The agreed rate would be fixed for the committed term.

Proposed rates were published in June 2026. Read the refund policy and confirm written terms before any payment.

PR Replay is a separate paid deliverable. Its advertised 50% Review credit is conditional on a future hosted launch; it is not a cash refund or a reduction in the report fee. Read the credit details.

Before you choose

Is anything held back from the free tools?

The CLI and MCP server are free under Apache 2.0 for individuals and teams. A paid report buys interpretation and a defined deliverable, not access to otherwise locked local checks. Your agent's model charges are separate.

What if we already have an AI code reviewer?

Keep the tools that work for you. Roam adds local codebase connections and structural checks for your agent or CI to use. Try it on a real task before deciding whether it adds useful information to your existing process.

Can we try the report without paying?

Yes. Run the local sample or read the linked self-audit example. Paid reports add review of the agreed scope and a founder walk-through. A sample does not establish that the findings will be useful on every repository.

Can we buy Review or Cloud today?

No. Both hosted products are planned and not available to subscribe to. An email enquiry records interest, not a purchase, reserved place, or launch commitment. You can use the free local tools now.

What should we send in a first email?

Describe the question you want answered, your languages, and the rough scope. A public repository link is optional. Do not email source code, credentials, or private reports. Agree an appropriate sharing path first.

Start with the free tools. Ask for help when you need it.
